Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Global Security Command Center Operator.
$30 Per Hour
This position oversees the daily security operations of a 24/7 Central and Global Command Center, safeguarding the assets of the facilities, employees and guests. This position will be responsible for monitoring, directing and responding to security and safety issues while ensuring the appropriate response is deployed efficiently and effectively.
Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, day, evenings, overnights and holidays, if needed.

A Global Security Command Center (GSCC) operator plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of an organization’s assets, personnel, and information on a global scale. They share information with various stakeholders to ensure effective security management.These duties may vary depending on the specific organization and its security needs, but they generally encompass a combination of monitoring, response, reporting, and analysis to ensure a safe and secure environment.Here are the primary duties typically associated with this role listed below.
Responsibilities:
Provide regular updates to senior management about security incidents, threats, and overall security posture.
Communicate with local law enforcement agencies during incidents or investigations requiring external assistance.
Monitoring and Surveillance
Continuously monitor security feeds, alarm systems, and communication channels for any suspicious activity or incidents.
Identify potential security threats through surveillance technology and intelligence reports.
Incident Response
Respond promptly to security incidents, such as breaches, alarms, or other emergencies, following established protocols.
Collaborate with local security teams, law enforcement, and emergency services to manage incidents effectively.
Regional or Global Security Networks
Sharing intelligence with other security centers or networks to stay informed about global security threats.
Badge Access Control and Monitoring
Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
Make periodic surveillance patrols of the facilityto check for unsafe conditions,hazards, unlocked
doors,security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems,and unauthorized persons.
Reporting and Documentation
Document all incidents, responses, and actions taken in detail for future reference and analysis.
Maintain logs of daily activities, monitoring outputs, and any notable occurrences.
Communication
Communicate security updates and alerts to relevant stakeholders, including management and other departments.
Work closely with other security personnel and departments to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
Analysis and Intelligence
Analyze security data and trends to identify potential vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.
Stay updated on global security trends, emerging threats, and best practices in security operations.
Risk Assessment
Conduct assessments to identify and mitigate security risks to the organization.
Ensure compliance with internal securitypolicies and externalregulations.
Training and Development
Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on security protocols and technologies.
Engage in emergency drillsand simulations to practiceand refine response strategies.
Technical Skills
Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems and technology.
Use various security tools and softwareto enhance monitoringand response capabilities.
Customer Service
Support employees by providing assistance and guidance regarding security concerns or incidents.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid state security guard card.
- Excellent communication, leadership, grammar, spelling and writing skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, cyber security, information technology, emergency management and/or business administration, or certifications in related fields preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience managing a security team.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in leadership/management.
- Previous contract security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Type 55 to 75 words per minute.
- An understanding of security operations and Incident Command Systems.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize your assigned task in a timely manner.
- A great communicator that gets the value of teamwork.
- Comfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, and stressful environment.
- Able to lead a security team in complex problem solving.
- Proven experience working as a dispatcher, call center representative and/or security command center operator.
- Must successfully pass Pre-Employment background check.
