Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

SWING SHIFTS

BUILDING OFFICERS-Alot of walking, good computer skills

PATROL OFFICERS-Must have driver license, in/out of vehicle often

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess Level II, Noncommissioned security license (via TOPS)
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• One year previous security experience is REQUIRED!
• Must possess a valid driver license for ALL driving posts
• Must be able to get into and out of vehicle often-If Patrol Officer
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods-If Building Officer
• Must be able to work flexible shifts
• Must pass our background/drug tests and/or MVR (if required)
